All the way from the Woodford estate in Kentucky, comes a straight rye whiskey full of sweet peppery tones.
Made in the traditional style, this spirit is created using a mash-bill of 53% rye which results in an interesting yet well-balanced flavour. With a warming, spicy heat comes notes of fresh fruit such as pear, apple and cherries, a drizzle of sweet honey and a hint of fragrant mint. Deeper flavours of cedar and cassia bark linger in the background to make this a full bodied and multi tonal whiskey that can stand on its own.
Best served straight up, or over a little ice, this is a whiskey that deserves to be savoured.
