Often referred to as silver, light, or clear, White Rum is much lighter in tone and flavour than its gold or dark counterparts. Aged for around a year, this spirit is predominantly made using sugarcane byproducts such as molasses which imparts a sweet, toasted flavour. After maturing and being carefully blended by a master blender to reach its optimum taste, this type of Rum is then often filtered to remove any colouring leftover from the brewing process.
