Whisky Sour

A beautifully balanced Whisky Sour recipe that is sure to wow your guests or enjoyed on your own. Why not mix it and try a Rum Sour, simple replace the Whisky with your favourite spiced Rum.

Key Ingredients

50ml Bourbon

Juice of half a lemon

10ml Sugar Syrup

1 x Egg White

3 or 4 drops of bitters

method

Step 1
Place the whisky, lemon juice, sugar syrup and the whites of one egg into a shaker filled with Ice.
Step 2
Shake well for a good 30 seconds.
Step 4
Strain into an old fashioned glass.
Step 4
Garnish with a few drops of Angostura bitters.
Step 5
Enjoy.
