Something of an innovation, Martell’s Blue Swift is unusual in that it is almost a cognac but also not at all. To be named as such this spirit needs to be matured in French oak casks, which is does, but then it goes a step further with something altogether different. After a rest on traditional oak, this finely distilled spirit is then finished in Kentucky bourbon barrels, imparting an extra layer of flavour and adding sweet vanilla tones to the final product.
Starting with their signature impurity free eau-de-vie, Martell’s two stage finishing process works well to create a rich and interesting taste quite different to what we would expect of a cognac.
The final spirit sings with tones of sweet candied fruits, warming ginger and smooth toasted oak. Soft and well rounded, this is an ideal drink savoured on its own.

For Next Day Delivery all orders should be placed on the website before 13:00GMT.
We currently only ship order to the UK, however have plans to expand that to cover Europe in the future.
