Originating in 1717, Swanotsuru is the most well known Sake in Japan. Sake is produced from high quality water and fermented rice that is polished to remove the bran. The water is a key element in the production process and affects the sake produced. Explore its full flavour of rice and hints of lemon, leaving you with a clean dry finish.
Swanotsuru can be enjoyed either warm or cold - it is down to individual taste. Sake is not normally drunk as a shot, with an ABV of 14.5%, which is closer in strength to wine, it is usually enjoyed as an appetiser.
