Whisky brand Bowmore, is the oldest licensed distillery on the Scottish island of Islay. It’s been in existence since 1779 and the secret of its taste lies in time. Bowmore invests more time than is needed at every stage of the production process. From its own proprietary malt barns, it hand-turns its barley.
It expertly times its fermentation periods and it takes the time to hand select every cask. This level of attention to detail pays off – the whiskies have a beautifully complex balance of smoke, fruit and sea salt. The range includes a 12-year-old, 15-year-old and 18-year-old, as well as limited and rare editions like the Bowmore 1965 50-year-old, and travel exclusives such as the Bowmore X Aston Martin – 18-year-old.
