Bottega’s roots can be traced back to 1635, when its forefather cultivated vines in the hills near Molinetto della Croda. It wasn’t until the early ‘80s when the brand really started to take off – thanks in part to its innovative distillation system and the fact that it was a softer, more delicate version of Grappa.
By 1987, Bottega started to extend its reach out of Italy – today it is widely known. It’s most famous in the UK for its proseccos and sparkling wines, some of which come in eye-catching mirrored bottles. Bottega Gold is a fresh, elegant and lively prosecco while Bottega Rosé Gold is a Brut rosé sparkling wine from pinot nero grapes.
