Hailing from the Scottish island of Islay, The Botanist is an artisan, hand-crafted and distilled gin – the first to come from this location. It blends 22 hand-foraged, local herbs and flowers, with nine classic gin botanicals and slowly distils them to create its big flavours. The Botanist’s expert foragers are responsible for searching the hills, shores and bogs of the island to ensure it captures the true essence of Islay.
Depending on the month they may select white and red clover, wild thyme, meadowsweet and elderflower. The resulting Botanist gin is smooth as silk, beautifully balanced and imbued with multiple, complex layers.
