Barramundi
Specialising in fruit-driven wines, this Australian brand hails from the Murray Darling region of Victoria, where two rivers converge. It means there’s no shortage of water, despite the dry climate. Barramundi started back in 1990 with just two blends and now boasts eight, including a Chardonnay, a Pinot Grigio and a Merlot.
Its Shiraz Petit Verdot has big bold aromas of dark forest fruits with hints of cigar, spice and leather from the oak barrels. The Chardonnay Viognier perfectly captures the essence of Australia and is pure sunshine in a bottle; the crisp, fresh taste dominated by honeydew melon and stone fruit.
