Based in Cognac, France, Audemus prides itself on combining modern, innovative techniques with traditional methods that have been tried and tested by generations of distillers. Its flagship product is the Pink Pepper Gin, a full bodied and aromatic spirit that is bold and much lauded. Named after the fifth taste, it’s second flagship product, Umami Gin, uses South Italian capers for its base flavour, with an infusion of Italian parmesan cheese thanks to the fact it is rich in the molecule that allows our tongues to taste the savoury-ness of umami.
Audemus also produces Covert Liqueur, a richly perfumed liqueur ideal as a digestif which combines fig leaves, spring honey and cognac. There’s also the Fractal series of limited edition spirits as well as limited editions batches and collaborations.
