Antica Sambuca is exemplified by the addition of star anise which is distilled in-house with a high degree of skill and precision. Made in small batches this delightful ingredient is found in every bottle. The sweetness and the warming flavour of the star anise combine to produce a full bodied flavour that gently tickles the taste buds.
The anise flavoured liqueur was first produced in the 1920s and to this day is lovingly crafted by the Dal Toso family in Italy. As well as the classic Sambuca, the company also produces a dazzling array of flavoured varieties including banana, tropical, apple, cherry, black liquorice, green chilli and amaretto.
