Jekyll and Gin glow in the dark cocktail
Hey, it's Halloween… and nothing says Halloween quite like a glowing beverage. This cocktail not only tastes great but changes from coral to icy white in colour when you put it under a black light - if you happen to have one handy.
You will need
- Pickerings Small Batch Gin
- Monin Grenadine Syrup
- lemon juice
- tonic water
Mix 3oz of gin, half an ounce of lemon juice and a teaspoon of grenadine in a cocktail shaker. Fill a tall glass with ice and pour the drink over the ice, topping up with tonic water.
Colour changing margaritas
Inject a little magic into your cocktail making skills with this trippy cocktail. It's like a trick or treats rolled into one - a delicious cocktail created from cabbage!
You will need
- Sierra Blanco Tequila
- Monin Triple Sec Liqueur
- lime juice
- lemonade
- purple cabbage
- salt
- limes
Take two cups of purple cabbage and cover with four cups of boiling water. Leave to steep for five minutes. Once the water has turned a vivid blue, strain and bin the cabbage, leaving the water to cool. Pour into an ice cube tray and leave to freeze.
Mix eight ounces of tequila, four ounces triple sec, three ounces freshly squeezed lime juice and a cup of lemonade.
Slide a cut lime around the rim of four glasses and then dip into coarse sea salt. Add your pre-made ice cubes to the cups. Pour over the liquid, garnish with a slice of lime and watch your drinks turn a deep pink colour
Rumberry Punch
Big jugs of punch are where it's at, and this tasty tipple is great for sharing with your nearest and dearest. Using dark rum gives this the edge in both flavour and looks.

- Blackwell Fine Jamaican Dark Rum
- Fever Tree
- Ginger Ale
- cranberry juice
Add 350ml of rum, one litre of ginger ale and one litre of cranberry juice to a jug or punchbowl and chill for several hours. Serve chilled with plenty of ice.
